About the Department
The Department of Agricultural Economics at Rashtriya Kisan (P.G.) College, Shamli is dedicated to developing expertise in the economic aspects of agriculture and rural development. The department offers Undergraduate and Ph.D. programmes, covering areas such as farm management, agricultural marketing, finance, policy analysis and rural economics.
With experienced faculty and a focus on analytical and practical learning, the department equips students with skills in economic analysis, data interpretation, and decision-making in agriculture. Emphasis is laid on research, field surveys and policy-oriented studies to address challenges in the agricultural sector and promote sustainable rural development.
