About the Department
The Department of Plant Pathology at Rashtriya Kisan (P.G.) College, Shamli is dedicated to teaching and research in the field of plant diseases and their management. The department offers Undergraduate and Ph.D. programmes, covering areas such as plant disease diagnosis, microbiology, mycology, bacteriology and integrated disease management.
With experienced faculty and well-equipped laboratories, the department provides practical training in disease identification, laboratory techniques and modern plant protection strategies. Emphasis is placed on developing sustainable and eco-friendly approaches to manage plant diseases and improve crop productivity. The department actively promotes research and extension activities to support farmers and agricultural development.
